Butter, for spreading

Marion’s Kitchen Crispy Chilli Oil , for serving

For the filling:

250g pork mince

2 spring onions, finely chopped

1 tsp grated ginger

1 garlic clove, finely grated

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tsp sesame oil

½ tbsp Marion’s Kitchen Crispy Chilli Oil

1 tsp cornflour

  • In a mixing bowl , combine the pork mince, spring onion, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, Marion’s Kitchen Crispy Chilli Oil and cornflour. Mix well until everything is evenly combined.
  • Lightly butter one side of each bread slice. Place the buttered side down and spoon the dumpling filling evenly over two slices, spreading it out to the edges.
  • Top each one with another slice of bread, buttered side facing up.
  • Preheat a jaffle maker or sandwich press. Cook the jaffles for 4-6 minutes or until the bread is deeply golden and crisp and the pork filling is cooked through.
  • Slice in half, then drizzle generously with Marion’s Kitchen Crispy Chilli Oil.
  • Serve hot and enjoy that dumpling-in-toast magic!
