Marion’s Kitchen Sichuan Chilli Stir-fry Kit
– SEASONED FLOUR
– SICHUAN PEPPER & CHILLIES
– SICHUAN STIR-FRY SAUCE
800g sliced chicken thigh, cut into small pieces
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp grated ginger
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
3 spring onions, finely sliced
Oil spray
- Place the seasoned flour in a large tray or bowl. Add the chicken pieces and toss to coat evenly.
- Preheat your air fryer to the highest setting. Lightly spray the basket with oil, then add the chicken pieces in batches. Cook for around 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden and cooked through. Repeat with the remaining chicken, and set aside.
- While the chicken is cooking, heat 2 tbsp of vegetable oil in a wok or a frying pan over medium heat. Add the grated ginger, chopped garlic, and Sichuan peppercorns & chillies. Stir-fry for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the cooked chicken back into the pan along with the stir-fry sauce. Toss everything together for about 2 minutes, ensuring the chicken is well-coated and heated through.
- Toss in the finely sliced spring onions, remove from heat, and serve immediately.
